Digital Safety Guide

The Digital Safety Guide presents detailed information about cybersecurity and the different types of online threats that people face — such as malware, hacking, and their effects on individuals and society.
This guide is an essential part of the Cyber Eco Project and aims to strengthen cybersecurity awareness and digital safety skills among the target groups. It provides educational content that helps people clearly understand the cyber risks they may face in their daily use of the internet and digital tools.
The guide encourages critical and analytical thinking by asking reflective questions at the end of each chapter. This approach transforms it from a simple textbook into an interactive booklet, making learning more engaging and memorable.
Its main goals are to achieve a set of objectives centered on enhancing cybersecurity awareness and culture among the target audience by clarifying the concepts of cybersecurity and digital safety, highlighting their similarities and differences, and providing cybersecurity awareness content related to the most common and significant cyber threats and risks. It also seeks to promote a culture of digital safety within society, transforming it into a public mindset and way of life; to enable individuals to accurately identify cyber risks, understand their dangers, and learn how to deal with them; to clarify common mistakes users make when interacting online and raise awareness of their consequences; and to provide a dedicated digital safety reference accessible to everyone, allowing continuous consultation to better understand cybersecurity risks.
